Nothing Shall Be Impossible with God
Luke 1:37 declares a truth that can steady the trembling heart: For with God nothing shall be impossible. These words were spoken into a moment that seemed beyond human reason. Mary had just received a message that would change her life forever, and yet the angel’s answer pointed her away from fear and toward faith. This verse reminds us that God is never limited by what limits us. He is not blocked by our weakness, our past, our lack, or the opinions of others.
Self reflection begins when we ask whether we truly believe that God can do what He says. It is easy to confess faith when life is comfortable, but harder when the answer seems delayed, the burden feels heavy, or the road ahead appears closed. In those moments, Luke 1:37 invites us to remember that God does not need favorable conditions to work. He creates possibility where none exists. He brings hope into barren places, peace into anxious minds, and strength into exhausted hearts.
When we face impossibilities, our response reveals what we trust most. Do we lean on our own understanding, or do we surrender our situation to the Lord? Faith does not deny reality, but it refuses to let reality have the final word. God’s power is greater than diagnosis, greater than financial strain, greater than broken relationships, and greater than every obstacle that stands before us. What seems impossible to us is still fully possible with Him.
This verse also calls us to examine our prayer life. Are we praying small prayers because we have grown accustomed to small expectations? God invites us to bring Him the things we have stopped believing for. He honors faith that reaches beyond human strength and says, “Lord, if You will, You can.” He is able to heal, restore, provide, guide, and transform according to His perfect will.
Today, let this truth renew your courage. The God who spoke the universe into being is still at work. He has not forgotten you, and He has not run out of power. Stand firm in trust, keep praying, keep believing, and keep obeying. With God, nothing shall be impossible.
Living by Faith in the Impossible
Faith grows when we choose to remember who God is more than what we see. Every impossible situation becomes an opportunity to witness His faithfulness. As you wait, worship. As you pray, trust. As you move forward, believe that the Lord is able to do exceedingly above all that you ask or think.
